How I work

I operate as an independent consultant based in Spain and work fully remote with an async-first approach. I typically collaborate with engineering leaders and founders through clear scopes, well-defined deliverables and transparent communication, rather than open-ended “time & materials” work.

My focus is on architecture, platform design and high-impact improvements to cloud / on-prem / hybrid infrastructure, not on filling a generic “extra pair of hands” role.

I work under a B2B model as a registered self-employed professional in Spain (autónomo). I am also registered as an EU intra-community operator (VIES), so EU clients can be invoiced without VAT under the reverse-charge mechanism.

Invoices can be issued monthly or per project milestone, depending on the engagement. Accepted payment methods usually include SEPA bank transfer and modern business payment solutions such as Revolut Business / Pro.

I take on a limited number of clients at a time to preserve depth and quality. Most engagements are part-time, focused on architecture reviews, platform improvements, DevOps/SRE practices and AI-related infrastructure.

Emergency or high-urgency incident work (production outages, critical platform instability, etc.) can be arranged under a separate priority response model with pre-payment and a different rate structure.
